Grapes
Encruzado & Arinto
Profile
Elegant and complex, this white blend balances ripe stone fruit and citrus aromas with subtle toasted and balsamic notes. Medium-bodied with a fresh, vibrant acidity, it unfolds with layers of yellow peach, mango, and a touch of salinity. The finish is long, clean, and distinctly mineral.
Vinification
Hand-harvested grapes are destemmed and macerated on skins for four days before fermenting with indigenous yeasts in used wooden barrels. Aged on fine lees for 11 months, the wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered, with minimal sulfur addition.
Producer
Quinta da Serradinha has been in the same family for five generations, pioneering organic viticulture in Portugal since 1978. Nestled in the limestone-rich hills of Encostas de Aire, their vineyards—some over 60 years old—produce wines that express both terroir and tradition.
